Every year I attend the Children's Pastors conference. This year it was held in Nashville. It always a great experience. This year I decided I would blog about all the wonderful speakers after I had read there books.

Margaret Feinberg was one of the keynote speakers. She was incredible! I really loved listening to her talk. She was born half Jewish and half Christian and just has a wonderful presence. She has been named on of the "Thirty Emerging Voices" of Christian leaders under age forty by Charisma magazine.

She has written many books, but her latest is The Sacred Echo. This book is about how we listen to God. What an amazing topic. So often Christian are embarrassed or unsure about this topic.

"The sacred echo is an invitation to spiritual awakening."
"I believe that we will never be better able to discern God's voice from the other voices as quickly, concisely, or accurately as when we spend time in God's Word."
"If prayer is one part speaking and one part listening, I think there's a third part people don't talk about as often; waiting.
I absolutely recommend her book. She is on Face book and My Space as well. She regularly write great tidbits on her Face book page. (probably on My Space as well, I wouldn't know) I reading another right now and bought two other. I let you know how they are once I'm done reading them.

Kase turns 4!

A few weeks ago Kase turned 4! (I know I have been a very bad blogger) We had his party at the Grace and it was lots of fun. Kase and his friends play the giant operation, climbed the tree, and ran around like crazy kids.

Kase has a Diego cupcake cake and had fun sitting in the throne opening gifts.
